Learn more →An assistant that actually does the work
mirv's agent lives inside your workspace and can create, reschedule, complete and organize real tasks, draft notes, and start the timer — no API key, no add-on, no extra subscription.
- “Plan my week” spreads your open work across the days you actually have free.
- “What should I do first?” gets a ranked answer, not a list dump.
- Bulk changes you'd dread by hand — reschedule 20 tasks at once.
- Proposes destructive actions and waits for your OK before touching anything.
Notes that link straight to your tasks
Write in Markdown, or just write and flip to Preview. Type [[ to link a note to any task or other note, Obsidian-style — your docs and your to-dos finally live in the same place.
- One-click Write / Preview toggle.
[[wikilinks]]with live autocomplete connect meeting notes to the tasks they spawn.- Paste or drop images straight in; labels and folders are shared with your tasks.
- Export any note to
.mdor the whole set to a.zip— no lock-in, ever.
Already live in Claude or Cursor? Connect them too.
mirv speaks the Model Context Protocol. One click in Settings generates a config and a token you control — then your own assistant can see and act on your actual lists, not a copy you pasted in.
- 80 tools: search tasks, build boards, run timers, read and write notes, plan your day.
- Ask Claude to “summarize everything overdue and draft the replies” — it reads mirv directly.
- Token-scoped and revocable. Generate it, paste it, kill it whenever you want.
And everything else you'd expect
Capture fast, organize when you're ready, and never lose the thread.
Questions, answered
Is mirv free?
Yes — mirv is free to use, and that includes the built-in AI agent. Create lists, tasks, and notes, switch between list and board, chat with the agent, and export everything whenever you like.
What can the built-in AI agent actually do?
It lives in a chat bubble inside the app and can read your lists, plan your week, create and reschedule tasks, write notes, start the timer, and make bulk changes — then it shows you exactly what it did. For anything destructive or large, it proposes the change and waits for your confirmation. No API key required.
How do I connect Claude or Cursor with MCP?
Open Settings → Connect to Claude. mirv generates the MCP config and an access token you paste into Claude Desktop (or any MCP client). From then on your assistant has 80 tools into your live workspace — and you can revoke the token any time.
Do the notes support Markdown and rich text?
Both. Notes are Markdown with a one-click Write/Preview toggle, so you can type Markdown or just write and see it rendered. You also get [[wikilinks]] to tasks and notes, pasted images, and labels shared with your tasks. Export to .md or .zip anytime.
Can I bring my data over from another app?
Yes. Built-in importers cover TickTick, Todoist and Microsoft To Do — open Settings, choose your previous app, and bring your lists and tasks across in a few clicks.
What does "local-first" mean here?
Your workspace is yours. Data is portable — you can export your entire workspace as JSON at any time and import it back, so you're never locked in.
How is my data protected?
Connections use HTTPS, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and we never sell your data or use your content for advertising. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I get help?
Email hello@mirv.app — we're a small team and we read every message. More on the contact page.
